This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it…or something like that! I’ve decided to chronicle my potty training experience. Just as a reminder, mainly for myself, of the goodness of God, when he finally gets it! He we go…day one!
I promise he was excited!
However, things got a little rough at the last potty break before nap…
Poor child fell asleep ON the potty! He did go pee-pee on the potty though!!!
By the end of the day, Jaxon did pee-pee on the potty twice (out of the 4 times that he went on the floor) AND he did pooh-pooh on the potty too).
Pray for me as we enter into day 2…
I’m starting a therapy fund today. Somewhere in this my man’s dignity is being slaughtered. And what’s so strange about sleeping on the pot? I sleep there all the time!
I did strategically cover the area that would have sent me to jail for publishing such pictures!

Have you read the book “Toilet Training in Less Than A Day.” I think they have it at the library. I used the method although none of my kids were “trained” in a day as the book suggests, but the method they use is great. Basically, you choose a day when you can be home and find an area of the house where you can be most of the day. Pump them full of juice or water or whatever they will drink. No panties or diapers, just running around bare bottom’d. They will have to go ALOT if you give them whatever they want to drink. Then during the inbetween times you get a plastic doll that you can give a water bottle to and has a hole for going “potty” and the child teaches the doll to go potty at the same time he/she is learning to go potty. Target has a cheap doll like that. It has worked for me 3 times!!! Good luck!
