As a new project, I am going to blog about a song that I have been CONSTANTLY listening to during the past week. I’ll try to do this on Saturday’s…but it may just be as much as “Still listening to the same song”. :) I love music and I would love to share with you what I am listening to. Enjoy. Here’s the first one.
If you have not heard or been exposed to Tye Tribbett’s newest project “Stand Out”, then you have seriously done a disservice to yourself! I am such a fan of this project! Rick and I have repeated listened to the entire cd. The whole thing is good…great writing, great production, just GREAT! One song in particular, that I repeatedly go to is track number 4: “Bless the Lord (Son of Man)”. It’s one of those songs that you envision singing or watching a great sign-language team interpret. As I listen I try to hold back the tears, which gets harder if I see my son raising his hands in worship once the song starts! Have a listen:
Tye Tribbett & Ga
Bless The Lord (son Of Man)
Son of man, Son of righteousness
King of the earth for sinners slain
I was lost, in darkness found
You randsomed my heart and i will sing(repeat)
(You are )my Strength, (You are)my Deliverer
The One who rescued me
(You are) my Hope, (You are)my redeemer
Your love has set me free
(Thats why i will)
Bless the Lord oh my soul (x4)
In the splendor of Your Majesty
from deep within my sprit sings, holy holy (x7)
Holy holy (x3)
Bless the Lord oh my soul (x12)
See what I mean. AWESOME! It reminds me that I am to bless the Lord at all times and that is praises shall continually be in my mouth! Blessings to you all. Let me know of any songs that I should give a listen to.
