Here is a WONDERFUL post to read: How to love a Prodigal, Part 1. I’ll be the first to admit that I was a prodigal, not in the traditional sense of the word, but I did stray. What led me back? That is another post for another day, but as I contemplate how to properly raise my kids, I wonder how much I should share. There is always that feeling of I don’t want them to see me in a ‘bad’ light or to think less of me. All valid arguments, but I know of a family that sat their kids down and came forward with some of their past sins. I believe that their kids were better for it.
