Here is a little update on Jaxon for the people that swear I don’t send pictures or haven’t told them anything about him in FOREVER!
June and July have been exciting for Jaxon. He went on his first road trip without his parents. He drove to Atlanta with my brother and his family. They said he did a a good job and was obedient…I don’t know if Korie would tell me otherwise. Anywho, once in Atlanta, the kiddos participated in “MP Camp” (Mimi and PaPa Camp). I know at one point my dad and uncle took the three older boys to the lake for three days! Here are a few pics:

When we got back to Memphis, my bestfriend Markathy took her son, Max, and my son to a birthday party. I couldn’t go because of a previous commitment, but I hear that Jaxon had a WONDERFUL time. Here are a few pics:
THE BEAST! I hear that Jaxon had an AWESOME time with this!

One of my FAVORITE pictures!
We recently had dinner at the home of Michael and Cindy Rogers. Derrick and Markathy were there too. Good food (catfish and fries!)…Good Fellowship…AWESOME time. Max and Jaxon LOVE their daughters (I think primarily because the girls let them do whatever they want…pray with and for me as I work to help Jaxon understand that that is not an acceptable behavior…
). Here are a few pics:

A quick explanation about this picture: Jaxon fell down 2 of the Rogers’ 10-15 steps. He was hysterical after 6 adults came running around the corner, 2 of which were his parents and we KNEW that we were on our way to the emergency room. NOTHING was wrong with him. He felt that if Mrs. Rogers let him sit on the counter while she fed him a little banana that his life would be a whole lot better! He milked it for about 20 minutes and then it was back to running around like his parents weren’t there.
What else is he doing? With the impending arrival of his little sister, Jaxon was booted out of the crib and placed in the Big Boy bed. I purposefully did it early so that I had enough energy to deal with the constant getting out of bed, playing with his toys, etc. However, much to my surprise, the FIRST time that I layed him down he went right to sleep. Haven’t had any problems from him since, except for the two times that we had to re-visit why we don’t kick the wall during nap/bed time.
Now it’s on to potty training OR potty introducing (if you will). We’ll see what happens…
Until next time…
